July 19, 2013; 10:00 am to 11:00 am. ] Escape to the peaceful surroundings of Bere Farm in Lytchett for our NWFK parent and toddler group, every Friday from 10-11am.

We’ll be entertaining the children with plenty of hands-on activities, based on our nature, gardening and wildlife themes to keep them occupied for the hour and will always include a take home item.

July 6, 2013; 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. ] NWFK will be introducing activity days throughout 2013, giving you the opportunity to pick and mix your own activities to suit your time and budget for children 3+yrs (adult supervision please).

With a variety of activities on offer we can offer a fun experience at the farm and you can always pop into The Barn Cafe [...]

Bees and Butterflies workshop

[ April 4, 2013; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. July 26, 2013; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. September 15, 2013; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. ] If our full day holiday club is not for you, then our themed workshops might be a better option. Our ‘Bees and Butterflies’ workshop offers activities based around bees, butterflies and nectar-rich flowers, suitable for children 6yrs+.

Typical activities:

Making butterfly feeders, flower magnets, wildflower bombs, willow butterflies and bee homes.

NWFK holiday club (Juniors, 6yrs+)

October 29, 2013; 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. ] For 2013, Nature’s Way for Kids will be introducing a holiday club for children 6 years and over. We will combine our seasonal gardening and grow-your own activities with craft projects to offer a variety of fun and interactive entertainment.

October 31, 2013; 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. ] Our parent and toddler workshops are suitable for children 2-5 years and will consist of seasonal gardening and craft activities, introducing them to the grow-your-own, wildlife and the natural environment.

Typical activities:

Making grass-heads, bug markers, pine-cone bird feeders, garden plaques, pressed flower cards and bookmarks

Sowing veggie seeds, planting hanging baskets and containers

Papier mache/decoupage bugs and flowers

Little Critters workshop

[ April 11, 2013; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. August 9, 2013; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. November 15, 2013; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. ] If our full day holiday club is not for you, then our themed workshops might be a better option. Our ‘Little Critters’ workshop focuses on garden wildlife, making habitats and providing crafts based around birds, hedgehogs, bees and ladybirds. Suitable for children 6yrs+.

Typical activities:

Making bug photo-frames, bee homes, hairy caterpillars, bird and butterfly masks, bird [...]

Muddy Fingers workshop (6yrs +)

[ August 21, 2013; 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. ] If our full day holiday club is not for you, then our themed workshops might be a better option. Our ‘Muddy Fingers’ workshop is largely based around gardening and grow your own activities, suitable for children 6yrs+.

Typical activities:

Making plant markers, strawberry towers, garden plaques, wildflower bombs and bean wigwams.
